Welcome to the web site of the “Central Shires Centre” the premier centre for the East Midlands.

The Central Shires branch of the Suzuki Owners club was formed back on the 7th April 2005. The centre draws its members from the counties of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. Although members of other centres are made vey welcome on any of our ride outs or centre events.

We meet on the first Wednesday of the month with the meeting starting at 8.00 pm, the meeting is held in the upstairs function room of the Barge.

The Shires centre has been very active with regard to the Attendance trophy since its formation; this is due to the enthusiasm of the centre members and committee arranging events throughout the year.

The centre has had several trips into Europe organised by Mark Cole including to date a trip to France and three times to Wissen in Germany. The European tours go on.

There is a map of the location of our venue (see Venue on home page), we are easy to find being on the B6540 between the A50 and Long Eaton. Take care when approaching the Barge from the south A50; be aware that there are 4 static speed cameras between the A50 and the Barge all on the B6540.
